Pole buildings utilize square, pressure treated posts as the primary structural component in combination with wood trusses to support the roof. This form of construction is highly customizable and exceedingly cost effective. At Hoover we go above and beyond traditional pole building construction and use .6 CCA treated lumber for all of our posts and skirt boards.

Hoover Building Systems is not a home builder, however we do work with Architects, homebuilders, and drafters to construct the shell of the home for customers interested in building a home with Hoover. We recommend going to an experienced homebuilder or architect beforehand and mentioning to them that you’d like to work with Hoover for your home.

What’s more, is Central States’ warrants its steel for a LIFETIME against chipping paint including a 30-Year fade warranty, ensuring your building looks amazing for a lifetime of use.

We at Hoover understand the kind of investment a new pole building is to you. That’s why we take great pride in doing things the right way. We are a Licensed General Contractor in the State of South Carolina and meet all state requirements for being one. We also engineer our buildings to meet or exceed city, county, and state building codes. We even produce our own trusses over at Hoover Trusses in order to ensure against any defects in the structural components. Protection even extends onto the jobsite, as our experienced and courteous crews are fully insured, protecting you and your property from any accidents.

Unseen Features

The hallmark of a well-built building is often the features that go unseen. At Hoover one of these features that set us apart is using a treated skirt board around the perimeter of your building to increase its lifespan. Similarly, all of our pressure treated square 6×6 posts are also treated with the same .6 CCA treatment to protect against termites. Another feature of a Hoover Building is that we manufacture our own trusses with steel connector plates and bolt our trusses to the posts to protect your building from harsh storms and wind gusts.
